In the Beginning

My humble beginnings take me back to working as a receptionist on cruise ships in the early 90's.
Before that, I had run away from an arranged marriage and then discovered I had been brought up in a cult and my whole life had been a lie.
That was a bit to chew on :)
A trilogy for another time!

Discovering the world

I was already a good speaker , writer and storyteller as I had been trained since birth to be preacher. to be present, to be respectful, considerate, compassionate and emphatic.

Traveling was an opportunity to live in different countries immerse myself in local culture, experiencing all sorts of walks of life, traditional cultures, modern culture and social expectations.
Connecting and cultivating, growing and learning aptitudes and attitudes.
Meeting amazing people who became family

Experience

I returned to the UK in 2001.
I joined amateur dramatic groups, choirs, and dance groups, cosplay, and starting performing on stage.
I learnt new skills in choreography, stage management, and perfecting my interactive skills.
I joined the film association at Southampton University, took a script writing course. Got involved making short movies for film festivals, some even won awards.
I also qualified as Montessori Nursery Teacher, Holistic Therapist and Yoga Teacher.
In 2012 I started producing and presenting activities and entertainment, up and down the U.K and Cyprus.
From care homes, to corporate events, fundraiser's, special events and celebrations.
I have conducted Wedding Ceremonies, Milestone Celebrations, Eulogies and memorials.
And I never looked back!

My Passions

Well, there is a bit more to me than costumes, enjoying a song and dance, and burning incense candles!

Awarded twice as Dementia Champion for the activities and entertainment I provided.

I had the privilege of being recommended by the CEO of the Quality Care Group, to train as a Namaste practitioner at Rowen's Hospice in Portsmouth, for end of life patients.

I wrote a little e-book I published for activities and entertainment. Specialising with dementia and alzheimer's patients and residents in mind, making it freely available to activity coordinator's and carer's because the job they do is invaluable, and sometimes we all need an injection of something different, something fresh to keep us enthusiastic.

I am a Humanist.
This means promoting a fair and equal society.

Desiring a tolerant world where rational thinking and kindness prevail.

To treat one another with compassion and respect, irrelevant of social standing, background and status, sexual orientation and gender.
Invocating a happier life for all.

International Alternative Celebrant
I split my time between London and Greece, Cyprus and Italy, depending on the demand.
However, I if availability allows I travel anywhere.
